The LWC Pep Band is the spirit and energy at the Boys & Girls Home Varsity basketball games! The LWC Pep Band is a voluntary ensemble made up of a variety of band, choir, percussion, guitar, orchestra, and LWC students at large. The LWC Pep Band exists primarily to support the LWC Basketball program throughout the season. This ensemble also provides students with another performance opportunity where they can relax and perform some exciting pop culture music on their instruments. The Pep Band plays a lot of new and popular music, and brings a ton of energy and excitement to every home basketball game.
The Pep Band starts up in November at the conclusion of the marching band season. There are a few mandatory rehearsals in November, and then the band performs at 9-10 boys and girls varsity home basketball games on Tuesday & Friday nights until the end of February. All members pay a fee that covers the cost of a uniform t-shirt and pizza for a few of the games.
